After visiting a friend in Sucat, Rodney & I decided to try out the dinner buffet at Marriott Cafe. When I called in for reservations and inquired for the price, she said they are currently offering 50% discount on the buffet dinner!

Marriott Hotel Manila is located at the newly-constructed Newport City in Pasay. It is right across NAIA Terminal 3.

    Tom meets Summer

I have been itching to watch this since I saw the trailer on Apple Trailers first quarter of the year. I adore (READ: ADORE) Zooey Deschanel since I heard her voice on Elf. Joseph Gordon-Levitt had been a staple of my teenage years with Third Rock from the Sun. So you can’t imagine my joy when I heard they are going to show it here.

I finally saw it with Rodney last Sunday, and the movie did not disappoint. It reminded me heavily of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Of course it was different in a lot of ways, but the film-making style is quite the same. The narrator reminded me of Pushing Daisies. The random presentation of events and the number that flashes in between scenes added to the charm of the film. The writing was impeccable. The movie was really quotable.

“This is a story of boy meets girl. But you should know upfront, this is not a love story.”

As opposed to the narrator who blatantly told the viewers it is not a love story, I would say there’s definitely a love story somewhere in there. It may not be the usual boyfriend-girlfriend love story, but the film showcased different types of relationships, a love story. I specially loved the  relationship between Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and his sister who is wiser beyond her years compared to Tom. (More …)

  • I moved

    Oh no, not again!?

Hehe, yes I did. I am now running a site called MyTsinelas.

MyTsinelas is a travel blog. Yes, another one. Nothing extra ordinary. Just me talking about one of the things that keep me going, every single day of my life. Travelling. I love reading about it, talking about it, preaching bout it. You’ll get tired of me in this blog, I’m sure. But I hope you won’t.

Just come and look around. You may learn something new.

    Click this link.

Myself and a couple of people are also on the last phase to launching a business website called MyKalakal. It’s basically a directory website for suppliers with few articles on doing business, being an entrepreneur and any topics related to it.

Strawberries Dreams  is also doing good. We’ve booked a few people for this year. Been getting a lot of inquiries, expo invitations and the likes. We will be an exhibitor at The Wedding Library Expo in February 2008. Part of my to do list is to transfer the Strawberry Dreams website under the MyKalakal domain. So watch out for that.

There’s really a LOT of activities happening the past few months. 2007 has been a wonderful year so far. The company I am working for as a full time web designer is also taking off, in fact we are moving to a bigger office. Still in Makati, but way bigger.

Anyway, I move a lot these days.  And I know it’s a bit hard to keep track of what I’ve been doing, but I hope you move with me on my next venture.

Sige na, send me a message so I can link you back.

    Salamat!

  • New Found Love, Bento Love

Been bitten by the bento bug. These are my horde just today at the Japan Home Center. Except for the Lock & Lock (which I bought at the mall), the blue and green one are bought for P88.00 (approximately less than $2). Also bought a green bento box bag (bbb lol) also for P88.00

Camera’s with my mom so I won’t be able to post pics of my bento creations for now, but I will try to sneak in some pictures from the cellphone. I expect things to get a little crazy once I add more items to my collection.

    I’m excited and giddy. Heeee
